Dr. Fulkerson is a Board-Certified Veterinary Oncologist and faculty member at Purdue University. He attended Purdue University for veterinary school and Texas A&M for a Rotating Internship, then returned for a Residency. He is a member of the Purdue Institute for Cancer Research and the Evan and Sue Ann Werling Comparative Oncology Centre, and an active volunteer for the ACVIM. His research focuses on drug discovery, canine clinical trials, and caregiver burden and its sequelae for pet owners and the veterinary team. He advocates for well-being in the veterinary profession, and particularly trainees.
