Dr Julia Medland received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from North Carolina State University, where she also completed a small animal rotating internship. Following this, Dr Medland completed a medical oncology residency at the University of Minnesota, where she remained for a year as clinical faculty. She is currently an oncologist at Upstate Vet in Greenville, South Carolina. Her clinical interests include lymphoma, osteosarcoma, and multidisciplinary cancer care. She prioritises maintaining excellent quality of life and dignifying the human animal bond for her patients and their families.
