Dr. Layne received her DVM from Colorado State University in 2002. She worked 11 years in mixed-animal and small-animal general practice. In 2013, she began dermatology specialty training at the University of Wisconsin-Madison School of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Layne achieved certification by the American College of Veterinary Dermatology in 2017. She stayed on at the UW as an instructor for 2 years before moving to private specialty practice in Salt Lake City. She is passionate about helping veterinarians look forward to managing dermatology cases.
